Wellingborough is a town of two halves, and both keep a roofer busy. The older housing brings the kind of roofing work that rewards experience. Terraced and Edwardian properties around the centre carry traditional clay tile and slate roofs, with shared valleys, original lead and chimney stacks that have weathered many decades.
