Quote requests. When you use our quote form we collect your name, phone number, postcode and anything you tell us about the job. We use this to check you are in our coverage area, contact you about your roof, prepare your quote and keep a record of work we have quoted or carried out. The legal basis is taking steps to enter into a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running the business.
Calls and emails. If you ring or email us we keep the details needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work.
Postcode checker. When you check your postcode, it is looked up against Postcodes.io, a free open service that returns the location of a postcode so we can measure whether you are within our coverage area. Only the postcode is sent for the lookup, and it is not stored by us until you choose to submit the form.
Our quote form is processed by Netlify, the platform that hosts this website. Submissions are stored securely in our Netlify account and emailed to us. Netlify acts as our data processor. You can read Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.
We use Google Ads to advertise our services, and the Google tag on this site measures whether our adverts lead to quote requests and phone calls. This uses cookies and similar technologies set by Google.
If you submit a quote request, we also use Google's enhanced conversions. Your name, phone number and postcode are hashed (scrambled into an unreadable code) in your browser before being sent to Google, which uses the hashed data solely to match the conversion to an ad interaction. Google cannot read the original details from the hash.
You can control ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers named above (Netlify and Google), and where the law requires it. If a job involves scaffolding, materials or specialist subcontractors, we share only what is needed to do the work.
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Records of quotes and completed work are kept for as long as needed to honour our workmanship guarantee and meet legal and tax obligations, then deleted.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, delete it, or limit how we use it, and you can object to our use of it. Email or call us using the details above and we will sort it, usually within a month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
